**About the team**:
Supporting the growth of SAP, the Government Affairs and Business Development team proactively engages with Governments across the globe to facilitate continuous interaction and collaboration on policy, regulation, and partnerships. Government Affairs is a part of the ‘Marketing and Solutions’ board area of SAP. Our core mission includes business support, public policy, and thought leadership.

**What you’ll do**:
**Position title**:SAP iXp - Government Affairs

**Location**:Ottawa

**Expected start date to end date**:April/May 2023 - April/May 2024

**In this role, you’ll**:

- Prepare policy papers/memos/position papers, draft letters, create point of views on policy risks and potential business opportunities in Canadian and global markets for internal and external audiences
- Support the preparation of government meetings and presentations for SAP executives
- Conduct background research on policy / legislative issues and prepare presentations, administrative support
- Minimal working duration six months

Government Affairs is a part of the ‘Marketing and Solutions’ board area of SAP. Our core mission includes business support, public policy, and thought leadership.

**Who you are**:

- Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Political Science, Economics, Law, Public Policy
- Computer skills: excellent MS Office skills
- Language skills: fluent in English. French is an asset.
- Soft skills: excellent analytical and presentation skills with attention to detail, team player, expert in organizing, self-starter, creative
- Others: previous work experience in related areas preferred
