Sip Technician

EnerSmart Building Systems Inc. (EnerSmart) manufactures and supplies Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) for residential, commercial, and industrial construction, and is looking to fill 2 positions.

**Sip Technician: General duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manufacturing tasks
- Learn all aspects of manufacturing; from production to assembly of products
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in pressing panels and assemble and prepare goods for shipment
- Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
- Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses
- Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery
- Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations

**Lead Sip Technician: General duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Monitor and direct the production staff to ensure timely assembly, loading, and shipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manufacturing tasks
- Learn all aspects of manufacturing; from pressing, production, to assembly of products
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Pressing panels and assemble and prepare goods for shipment
- Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
- Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses
- Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders
- Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery
- Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations

**Working Conditions**:

- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Loud environment
- Repetitive tasks
- Labor intensive
- Be able to lift 50lbs, stand all day, bend over, lift long planks, and other heavy materials
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to PPE (safety glasses, etc) rules at all times
- Work well with a small team or alone as needed
- Be punctual and have reliable transportation to work**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
