Dietary Aide

**Mission Creek Landing **has been a part of the East Kelowna community for over 45 years. It is nestled in a residential park like setting and is adjacent to the scenic Mission Creek Regional Park. Mission Creek Landing provides a safe home for seniors who can no longer live independently, whether due to physical or cognitive issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Following proper safe food handling procedures you will prepare, portion and stock food and beverages in dining and service areas
- Deliver meals and snacks to resident dining areas
- Clear and clean inserts and dishes from kitchen, dining, and service areas
- Support the food services needs of the residents taking into account preferences, portion sizes and restrictions
**What we are looking for**:

- Current FOODSAFE Level 1 certification
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in healthcare environment an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and residents
- Criminal record check, proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Reliable transportation - **we are** **not on bus route**
