Our client is looking for an experienced Regenerative Farm Manager to oversee our organic production operations and lead our efforts to introduce Regenerative Farming.

Our client is an existing 3500 acre farming operation located in beautiful Grey County, Ontario.
- They are committed to producing the highest quality organic crops for the community and retail partners using methods that are regenerative and in tune with natural processes.
- Owns/Operates a mill in Gibraltar, Ontario to further process organic crops grown on the lands. Situated two hours north of Toronto, Grey County is home to the Niagara Escarpment and offers beauty you can & get in the city.
- They value its heritage, natural beauty, clean, healthy environment, and rural lifestyle. Grey County offers four-season living at its best with a short drive to Collingwood and Georgian Bay.

The Farm Manager will oversee and initiate all activities relating to the organic crop production. This includes:

- Creating a one (1) to five (5) year rotational crop plan
- Ordering seeds and materials
- Assist with tractor and equipment operation during seeding and harvesting seasons
- Updating and meeting with the farm owners to discuss strategies, plans, etc.
- Developing/implementing a long-term strategy to strengthen land resiliency, biodiversity, and soil health - thereby maximizing productivity and quality of land
- Expand land under cultivation onsite while incorporating plans for crop rotation, cover cropping, etc.
- Plan for/implement continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency of current growing activities
- Participation in the farm’s administration including data collecting, record-keeping, and reporting required to maintain organic certification and assisting in the keeping of financial records, making of budgets, handling of receipts, etc.
- Assist with the maintenance of a small flock of sheep and small herd of cattle. Will include rotating them thru pastures, monitoring their wellbeing and participating in calving and lambing.
- Supportive of and able to contribute actively to the owners’ goals of utilizing the farm for educational and

community purposes.

**About You**

Your passion for food, regenerative farming and sustainability forms the basis of your personal and professional values. To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role with expertise in Regenerative Agriculture. You will be willing and able to work in the office and field, including tractor operation and undertaking physical work. You will need to be comfortable around various types of livestock. As a leader, you will display a high degree of initiative, ability to think strategically, and problem solve. You have a professional presence and pride yourself on your ability to interact with people from all walks of life and build a community.
- A current Driver’s License is required

**Salary Range: $80-100k
