Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Retail Operations Specialist, Pharmacy on a permanent full-time basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK.

**Who we are**:
**What you’ll do**:
You will assist approximately 70 pharmacies in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) in improving operational results through retail visitations and recommendations outlined in written reports. Note that significant travel (approx. 75%) is required,
- You will enhance profitability in CRS pharmacies by identifying opportunities to improve sales, gross margins, expenses, productivity, and customer perception and reduce shrink to ensure product offering is meeting customer needs. This is done through retail visitations, scorecards, surveys, focus groups, the retail pharmacy operations portal, and written reports.
- You will assist and support Retail Department Managers through the execution of merchandising standards, improved sales, margin enhancement, and marketing programs.
- You will assist with the implementation of planograms and pharmacy floor layouts.
- You will support Retail Managers, and the FCL Retail Facilities teams through renovations and new store projects.
- You will communicate and assist with the roll out, implementation, and marketing of pharmacy programs to retail staff.
- You will act as a primary point of contact and liaison for Local Cooperatives, home office, and the warehouse regarding: ordering, claims, service, program communication, and general trouble shooting.
- Working with the Zone Human Resource teams, you will identify retail employees with future management potential and identify individuals and assist in the coordination of training for non-management mentorship, advance training, accelerated advance, and 1 to 1 training.
- You will identify and communicate best practices to local Co-ops and provide expertise on pharmacy technology utilized at store level.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
- Previous experience in Retail Operations and or the Pharmacy industry is an asset.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
