Materials Analyst

**Main Responsibilities**
1. Participate in all customer required training and coordinate customer’s requirement for all aspects of materials planning and logistics. This includes all specific requirements via customer managed web portals and communication interfaces.
2. Use corporate template to gather new product launch information and set up MMS in the ERP system.
3. Monitor daily/weekly customer delivery schedule and provide short term and long-term production plan with the goal of 100% on time delivery.
4. Coordinate with production department (Team Leaders, Production Supervisors, and Production Managers) to ensure materials and packaging are queued to meet daily production goals.
5. Coordinate with Inventory analyst and assist in cycle count variance investigations. This includes follow up and driving actions to correct root causes.
6. Coordinate container and material flow into and out of HUB area, inclusive of maintaining organization to the plant layout.
7. Oversee 5S and Layered Process Audit activities within areas of responsibility - drive corrective actions.
8. Continuously improve performance through process improvements and lean initiatives while leading performance management and corrective action processes for Team Members.
9. Evaluate departmental processes. Recommend and coordinate needed changes based on process evaluation.
10. Plan, Do, Check, and Adjust to resolve non-performance for department measurable.
11. Administer Employee policies, practices, procedures, guidelines and work rules, including BOS/TS16949/ISO14001 requirements.
12. Serve on committees and teams as department representative. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks, and as needed filling in for absent team members.
13. Other continuous improvement projects and duties as required.
**Education Requirements**:
Post-secondary degree with minimum of 3 years work experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution environment with a focus on material flow.
