**Job Description: Security Systems Jr. Technician**

**Role Overview**:
This role is for a member of our security system team. Reporting to the Manager, System Design and Support.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Installing of conduit, cable, devices, commissioning and general labour for security equipment.

2. Assisting with servicing and maintaining of security equipment.

3. Perform overhead work to repair/install hardware where required, including with ladder

4. Work in outdoor and indoor conditions year-round

4. Work in team environments.

5. Process work orders and documentation.

6. Must keep in constant contact with Manager, Systems to ensure timelines and deadlines are adhered to and managed as efficiently as possible within our capacity.

7. Regular travel within GTA, may include work in job sites within Ontario which would require week long stays as a result, and occasional travel Internationally, to visit customer sites and attend training.

8. Assist other members of the Profile team on existing projects and initiatives.

9. Demonstrate professionalism and highly ethical behavior in all professional dealings.

**Requirements**:
**Experience is an asset, but not required.**

1. Confidence, professionalism and positivity in all settings.

2. Self-starter.

3. Eagerness to improve, adapt and change.

4. Strong desire to see tasks to completion.

5. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple complex tasks concurrently.

6. Strong computer technology skills required

7. Must have a valid driver’s licence of at least G2 level.

8. Must be able to pass various pre-employment background checks, including: criminal history, credit history, driving abstract, education and credential verification, personal and professional references, as well as Canadian Government Level 2 (Secret) clearance.

**Compensation**:
1. **Wage**: based on experience.

2. **Vehicle**:Company work van will be supplied with all gas, maintenance and insurance paid for.

3. **Work Hours**:Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm, unless after hours work is required to complete a project.

4. **Medical & Dental Benefit Plan**: Company-paid benefits plan will start after probationary period.

5. **Cellular**:Monthly allowance provided

6. **Group RRSP**:company matching RRSP contributions after 1 year of employment

7. **Uniform**:Profile logo’d uniform will be provided

8. **Training**:Company paid training will be available for various vendor specific products Profile supplies and installs to maintain all job requirements.
