Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a a Lumber Distribution Operator on a permanent basis at our Lumber Distribution Facility.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
**What you’ll do**:

- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Operate forklifts to assist in the shipping and receiving of lumber and building products.
- Perform housekeeping in buildings and outdoor storage area and provide light repair/maintenance when required.
- Other duties as required.

**Who you’ll work with**:
**The Team**: You will work closely with rest of the Lumber Distribution Facility team, including the Lumber Distribution Supervisor, who you will report to. This team strives to cultivate a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
**The Collaborators**: You will work closely with other functions in our Home and Building Solutions department and collaborate across the organization such as with those located at our other Lumber Distribution Facility.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

- Have a Grade 12 Diploma.
- Have a minimum of 1-3 years of lumber yard or forklift experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have excellent communication and people skills, mechanical aptitude of maintenance and repair, knowledge of lumber and building products, and experience working with power tools.
- Mobile equipment certifications (preference for a valid forklift certificate), first aid training, and a Class 3 license is an asset.
