The Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Divisional Controller for its Brandt Finance division in our Regina, SK location.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide positive and professional leadership to finance team members and ensure the team is in a position to support Brandt’s strategic goals.
- Develop a strong understanding of Brandt’s operations and industry to contribute strategic financial advice to leaders across the business.
- Oversee the issuance of monthly and annual financial statements and reporting packages for the Division.
- Oversee the annual audit process, ensuring timely preparation of deliverables for the external auditors and to the Manager of Financial Reporting, for completion of the consolidated audited statements and income tax returns.
- Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in supporting the annual operating and capital budget process.
- Partner with operations and sales leaders to define, measure, analyze, and improve current processes.
- Provide strategic analysis as required to drive improved decision making.
- Specific projects and other related duties as required.

- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Highly self-motivated and willing to proactively take on leadership roles within project teams; willing to go the extra mile to support the team.
- Proven organizational, time management and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are vital to the role.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.

Required Experience
- University degree in Business/Accounting, with advanced degree or professional accounting designation (such as CPA) preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, with the last 5 years in a direct supervisory role.
