**Job Purpose**

The purpose of the Breakfast Attendant is to setup and takedown the breakfast buffet, while also responding to any inquiries or problems in an efficient and professional manner. Achieving maximum customer satisfaction is essential.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

The job duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Greet all guests in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Prepare food and beverages for breakfast buffet.
- Setup and takedown of breakfast buffet.
- Ensure all necessary breakfast ingredients, cutlery, plates, napkins, etc., are stocked and ready for breakfast time.
- Report any faulty breakfast equipment to your supervisor.
- Assist guests with all inquiries in connection with the breakfast, while also resolving any complaints that may arise.
- Knowledge of the breakfast and beverage items.
- Ensure the kitchen, breakfast area and seating areas are cleaned before and after the designated breakfast time.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned: some additional tasks include working in the laundry department and cleaning public areas once the breakfast is closed.

**Qualifications**
- Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Prior buffet or hotel experience is desirable.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be continuously moving for a full shift.
- Great attention to detail.
- General knowledge of a hotel and its operations.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
