**Company Description**

Examples of the tasks to be accomplished by the Junior Project Manager may include:
Travel Coordination Support. Day-to-day support to DLCPM 4 travel coordination to include, but not limited to the following:

- Process travel requests in accordance with DND and Treasury Board travel directives;
- Maintain travel tracker; and
- Provide liaison between the team and the Travel Cell.

HQ Coordination and Support:

- Liaison and coordination with the Business Management Team;
- Support the second in command for reports, returns, and other remits; and
- Represent the team at building and facility meetings.

**Qualifications** Mandatory**

A minimum of a College diploma or University Degree in Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration or another suitable engineering or technical field.

A minimum of 4 years of experience performing 7 of the following 9 tasks:

- Working as a project manager for projects in excess of $1M per year expenditure.
- Preparing and presenting technical and management documents.
- Management of stakeholders and communications in a project context.
- Managing project finances for projects in excess of $1M per year expenditure.
- Managing the project scope for projects in excess of $1M per year expenditure.
- Managing project schedules for projects in excess of $1M per year expenditure.
- Performing risk management for projects in excess of $1M per year expenditure.
- Drafting correspondence and making recommendations on the acceptance or rejection of deliverables.
- Preparing Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).

**Nice-to-Have**

An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
