**A bit about driving for us**
**- **Uniform shirt provided, casual dress
**- **Pick-up and drop-off customers and contract goods in a professional, efficient and courteous manner
- A commitment to take the quickest, safest and most reliable route to and drop calls
- Assisting passengers to load and unload parcels (as requested and within reason)
- Charging the correct fare and returning the accurate change (if cash).
- Communicating with dispatch and operating POS merchant terminal is a must.
- Maintaining company vehicle in a neat, clean, safe and welcoming state for passengers.
- Maintaining vehicle reliability by completing daily maintenance check, ensuring regular maintenance/levels/fluids/tires/wipers/windshield appointments are schedule and performed, accidents are reported immediately and car washes are performed regularly.
- Planning routes to provide value to passengers, efficiency between calls, responsible mileage, planned fuel stops and cleaning in between customers is a priority.
- Driving regularly scheduled business to business calls that often take drivers out of town with a same-day return. Opportunity for scheduled Saturday calls.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- **Possess a valid Class 4 Nova Scotia Driver's license.
- Provide a clean driving abstract.
- Maintain and submit a daily driving log and vehicle safety check.
- Pass a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
- First Aid & CPR training and certification is considered an asset.

**Location**

This position is based in Antigonish area in Nova Scotia. Please ensure that you are a resident of the local area or willing to relocate on your own accord before applying, as no relocation costs or allowance will be provided.
