This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to work in the hospitality and event industry and enjoys exceeding guest’s expectations. We offer part time opportunities with early morning, overnight and weekends. This is a great role for those who are looking to balance other work and/or school commitments in a fast paced, exciting environment.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare event spaces by moving, arranging and setting up furniture as per event contract
- Complete setting of guest tables included but not limited to: linens, charger plates, dishware, flatware, glassware, centerpieces and napkins
- Set up tables and chairs based on the number of guests attending the event
- Tear down of tables, chairs and décor after event commences
- Take direction from the Conference & Banquet Managers
- Ensure all items placed on tables are clean and in accordance with hotel standards
- Keep décor storage room clean and organized
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
- Drive positive change in the organization
- Ensuring the level of sanitation and cleanliness exceeds standards
- Using exceptional attention to detail, reads, interprets and expedites instructions on the BEO and diagrams precisely and in a timely manner
- Maintain professional presentation of the room during meeting breaks with non-interference of presentation material.
- Set-up of food buffets & coffee service displays for meetings and events
- Monitoring buffets during event, replenishing food when needed, ensuring proper food handling and cleanliness of display
- Tear down and clean up of buffet display
- Clearing plates and doing dishes post event
- Set-up of Audi Visual Equipment for events
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimal Vacuuming, Sweeping and Mopping of Floors
- Minor Maintenance Repairs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
