We are currently seeking an experienced CASUAL Housekeeping Attendant to join our Fenwyck Heights team based out of our new independent seniors' living facility at 260 Pioneer Rd, Spruce Grove, Alberta. This position will require flexibility for shifts during days (8:00am to 4:15pm), evenings (1:00pm to 9:15pm), and weekends.
Reporting to the Manager, Fenwyck Heights, this position will be vital in supporting the well-being and quality of life of our residents by ensuring their living spaces and shared areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained. This role includes cleaning apartments, common spaces, and other areas of the facility in alignment with health and safety guidelines to provide a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Clean and maintain resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with facility standards.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including proper use and handling of cleaning products.
- Monitor and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards in resident rooms or communal areas.
- Respond promptly to resident requests, providing courteous and respectful service.
- Assist with light maintenance and meal clean-up, as required.
- Collaborate with other facility staff to ensure a high standard of service and resident satisfaction.
**EDUCATION**:
- A minimum Grade 10 education is required.
**Experience**: Preferred
- 1 year(s): Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Compassionate and respectful attitude towards seniors and their needs.
- Physical stamina for cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
