**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
The position is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, service, and skilled mechanical work in the diagnosis and repair of large and small passenger school buses and vans. Working along side your staff helping with diagnostics, troublesome repairs and working together for solutions. Safety and positive customer relations are the cornerstones of this position.

**Qualifications/Education/Experience**:

- **Requires 310T - Truck and Coach Technician certification - 310S - Automotive Technician certification a definite asset.**:

- **Supervisor experience will be an asset.**:

- 1-3 years’ work experience in the mechanical repair and maintenance of all company related equipment.
- Knowledge of safety rules and precautions related to the use of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Knowledge of methods, tools, materials, equipment, and procedures used in the diagnosis, overhaul, repair and adjustments of components and systems for vehicles and equipment.
- Satisfactory drivers abstract.
- Multitasking Projects and on the floor repair to ensure safety standards are met.

**Truck and Coach Technician will inspect, repair, and maintain 70 Passenger buses, road transport vehicles, performing work on structural, mechanical, electrical and electronic systems. Specifically, a Truck and Coach Technician inspects, repairs, and maintains**:

- electrical and electronic systems
- engines including fuel, exhaust, intake, and emission controls.
- transmissions, clutches, drive shafts and axles
- body and trim, frames, and hitching/coupling systems.
- steering, suspension, and computer control systems
- tires, wheels, and hubs
- braking systems including air supply and hydraulic, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
