**Responsibilities**

This position is responsible for the preparation of structural engineering drawings, managing drafting budgets and deliverable on small/medium projects. As an Intermediate Technician in our Vancouver office, you will be required to work collaboratively in a team environment with Project Engineers, Architects and other consultants.

**Qualifications**
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Computer Aided Design
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and Dynamo
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with engineering design disciplines
- Good communication skills (written, comprehension and oral)
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail, motivated and self-starter
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

**Duties**
- Communicate as needed with architect and other consultants to coordinate models and resolve issues
- Redesign drawings according to mark-ups, sketches, and specifications provided
- Perform computer aided design drafting and modelling duties in appropriate software
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers for deliverables, expectations, and coordination of items
- Check drawings for conformance to standards and design requirements
