Wood’s Renewable Energy and Power business group of more than 2,000 people leverages Wood’s engineering and design, construction and operations and maintenance capabilities to bring a unified solution to renewable energy and power projects. Within RE&P, our Power Solutions business performs consulting and EPCM services for many power generation and power distribution companies across North America.

In this role which reports to the Project Controls Manager for Power Solutions in Vancouver, you’ll tap into your proven leadership and teamwork skills by partnering with multiple departments and stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain various systems to support project delivery. You’ll utilize your exceptional communication skills and analytical and problem-solving abilities in order to design effective and efficient solutions for processes, procedures and templates related to project and program management. Based out of our Vancouver office, this is a partially remote position operating on a hybrid work schedule.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the coordination of resource planning within the business unit, including implementation and maintenance of our associated resource planning system
- Support the set up of projects in our cost control and project performance system
- Generate, maintain and improve various excel files and templates
- Analyze and track various KPIs
- Support the development and updating of various project controls procedures and instructions
- Assist project controls with various tasks as required

Skills / Qualifications:

- Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in business, engineering or similar
- Ability to quickly learn and process information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Word and Excel
- Superior analytical, problem solving, audit and investigation skills
