**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Attend morning “tool box” meeting to be aware of daily activities
- Ensure that blender, hoses, pumps are clean and are in good working order
- Obtain process order and ensure that all materials are in stock for the blend
- Batch operator is responsible for bringing in required raw materials
- Accurately follow blending instruction on process order and complete blend
- Obtain retain sample and send to QC to ensure it meets spec
- Label containers and dispense product
- Ensure viscous materials are in ovens for the next days blends
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- Assist with loading and unloading empty drums when required
- Assist in general tidying of the blend room/warehouse area
- Assist in spill cleanup when required

**Qualifications/Competencies**:
The individual in this role will have:

- Attention to detail is KEY
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds, and able to work on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner and also in a team environment
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job
