Group Fitness Instructor

Join our team at All Access, an integrated health & fitness community in the Danforth/Greektown neighbourhood of Toronto. We pride ourselves on our “train hard, recover fast” mentality that connects group fitness/personal training with a strong team of manual therapists in the same space. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Group Instructor to lead our client-focused fitness classes. **Responsibilities**:
- Lead engaging and high-energy classes, including circuit-style workouts, HIIT, and strength training.
- Develop and implement well-structured exercise programming suitable for participants of all fitness levels, ensuring safety and proper form.
- Provide clear instructions, modifications, and demonstrations to ensure participants understand and perform exercises correctly.
- Create a positive and motivating atmosphere during classes to inspire and encourage participants to push their limits and reach their fitness goals.
- Offer personalized support and guidance to participants, including answering questions and providing feedback on form and technique.
- Become familiar with our community while making personal, genuine connections.
- Create fun, appropriate playlists to play in class.
- Check in all clients on our software
- Assist with gym events, promotions, and other related activities as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Certified fitness instructor with a recognized certification (e.g., CanFitPro, ACE, NASM, etc.) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience leading group fitness classes or personal training, preferably in a gym or fitness studio environment.
- Strong foundational knowledge of various exercise modalities such as strength training, cardiovascular exercise, flexibility training, and functional movements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with participants and provide clear instruction & constructive feedback.
- Energetic and motivational attitude with the ability to create a fun and supportive environment.
- Ability to adapt to different fitness levels and modify exercises accordingly to accommodate each client’s needs and abilities.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with gym staff and management.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 1-6 per week
**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour
