Saskatoon, Canada GFL Environmental Inc. Full time

The Recovery Technician will be responsible for operating our Hybrid Units, Straight Truck & Bulk Tanker, while collecting used oil, filters and plastics along with Part Washer Services throughout the designated province. The Recovery Technician will require a high level of professionalism and customer service, which will be used to consistently build positive customer relationships and to promote GFL’s wide range of service offerings.

**Compensation Range**:
$60,000 - $65,000 annually

**Key Accountabilities**:
Follow schedules and service orders in accordance with the Service Coordinator’s instructions
Provide exceptional on-site service to customers and continuously promotes GFL’s service offerings
Complete service paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations
Safely operate all required transport equipment & Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab, components and other assigned equipment

**Participate in GFL’s safety programs including**: safety meetings, last minute risk assessments, and job hazard assessments.

**Requirements**:
Class 1 Driver’s License (or provincial equivalent) with a clean drivers abstract
Able to work independently
Customer service experience
TDG knowledge and experience
Self-motivated attitude
Experience working in a safety sensitive environment
Ability to work out of town and overnight trips up to three days at a time.
