**What You Will Do**:
Reporting to the Operations Leader, this position performs complex diagnostic ophthalmic procedures and assessments in imaging, visual field and other ophthalmic tests. Provides tests and treatment information for interpretation by medical staff and performs related duties.

- Heyex Optical Coherence Tomography
- Color Vision (Ishihara, D-15)
- Potential Acuity Meter
- Intraocular pressure measurement using Tonopen
- Manual & Automatic Lensometry (various types of lens and prisms)
- Autorefractor & Lens Transposition
- Vision (Near and Distance) Test
- Basic Pharmacology (ex. Mydriacyl, Mydfrin, Pilocarpine)
- OPTOS Fundus Photography
- OPTOS Fluorescein Angiography
What You Bring:
**Education**:
- Graduation from a recognized program in ophthalmic technology.
- Two (2) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
**Skills & Abilities**:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.

**Your Day to Day**:
- Review requisitions, patient history, and verifies appropriateness of visual field tests and photographs
- Identify concerns and implements requisition changes as directed
- Perform various tests and procedures including Goldmann field tests, tonometry, and ocular motility assessments
- Analyze, record, and report relevant data for physician interpretation
- Conduct complex ophthalmic tests and imaging procedures such as fluorescein angiograms and OCT scans
- Evaluate, select, and process images for diagnostic purposes
- Administer eye drops, monitors patient status, and reports adverse reactions
- Demonstrate testing procedures and equipment operation
- Monitor equipment performance and maintains inventory
- Assist in the orientation and education of new staff
- Provide input for Continuous Quality Improvement Program initiatives
