VPC Group Inc., has an opportunity for a Intern Student in the position of Pattern Cutter in Calgary, AB for a temporary full-time position from September 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024

**Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:15pm**

Reports To: Programming Supervisor

**Summary**

The Student Pattern Cutting individual will be working with our Programmer in creating patterns for fiber cutting for various products such as couch and automan cushins.

**Job Duties**:

- Ensure all work is being done with your safety, and the safety of all our employees in mind.
- Able to complete an assigned task / project from start to finish successfully.
- Read and understand measurements for accurate pattern development

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in post secondary education
- Ability to read and understand measurements
- Ability to use various cutting methods such as scissors and cutting wheel and mat
- Competent in using the Microsoft Suite

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
