Waystone Psychology is an active and busy private practice operating in the Ottawa West End since 2016. We’re currently seeking to add an additional psychometrist to our team in order to support our clinicians. We provide psychological assessments and therapy services to clients from a broad range of age groups and backgrounds. We’re looking for a highly motivated and self-directed individual who can work collaboratively with other clinic team members in order to assist us in delivering high quality care to our patients.

This position is ideal for individuals considering further career development in psychology, as Waystone Psychology is committed to mentorship and professional development. The position includes supervision and training in client interaction skills and the administration of a variety of psychological measures.

The planned shift for this position is **9AM-5PM** five days per week, with some weekend availability required, however specific days of the week can be determined upon hiring**. **However, we believe in offering our staff a flexible working schedule when needed.

**Primary Role Responsibilities**
- Administration of psychological tests under supervision of the Clinic Director
- Assisting with data entry, file management
- Assisting with report preparation
- Other tasks as needed to support clinical staff.

This is an in-person position, as many functions and duties cannot be completed remotely.

**Job Requirements**
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology, or related discipline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Ability to utilize French is an asset, but not required)
- Proficiency with common computer software (e.g, Microsoft Office, Google Docs)
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and a very high attention to detail
- Calm demeanor, especially when working with clients who may be distressed

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
