**What you will be doing.**:
As our
**Maintenance Inventory Consultant**, you will support our clients in the energy and renewables industry. You will be responsible for managing and delivering reliability and maintenance management projects to clients and ensuring that technical and commercial targets are achieved. In addition, you will:
Act as technical lead and possess the required skills and experience for the following scopes of work / activities:
- Strong inventory & spare parts optimization experience.
- Experience in developing/reviewing Bill of Materials.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors/OEMs.
- Auditing existing maintenance programs for optimization opportunities.
- Maintenance Policy/Philosophy Development & Integrity Performance Indicators.
- Maintenance Strategy Development & Optimization.
- RCM, FMECA, RCA.
- Safety Performance Standards Development.
- Work instructions and Job Plan Development.
- Critical Spares / Spare Parts Analysis.
- Equipment Criticality Assessments & SCE Selection.
- PM Scheduling & Work-Load Smoothing.
- Facilitate discussions and train internal teams and external stakeholders as a technical authority in discussions involving Maintenance and Reliability.
- Manage the planning, coordinating, and implementing of projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope.
- Build relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction on existing scopes and to generate new business.
- Ensure training of all project personnel and their competency development.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate on assigned projects between all disciplines, project consultants, and clients.

**What we are looking for.**:
**Essential**:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Have between 5-10 years of relevant work experience leading/supporting inventory, reliability, maintenance, and integrity projects.
- Possess robust knowledge of maintenance requirements for electrical, instrumentation, rotating and mechanical equipment.
- Have gained knowledge of a variety of operating environments (offshore, onshore, greenfield, brownfield, etc.).
- Have proven knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (specifically Maximo and SAP).
- Have proven knowledge of CMMS / Maintenance Builds.
- Have a good track record of technical leadership in small to medium sized teams with a high degree of commercial acumen.
- Have exceptional analytical (quantitative and qualitative) skills.
- Can effectively interface and communicate with both internal teams and external clients.
- Reside in Calgary but are willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Have experience in supporting projects/initiatives overseas.
- Possess experience offshore.
- Have gained knowledge of bowtie analysis, safety cases and performance standards.
- Possess knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14224, ISO 55000, BS 61509, Safety Case Regulations, PFEER, SOLAS.
- Are knowledgeable of Offshore Regulations (BSEE).
- Hold a CMRP certification, PE certification, Chartership or equivalent.
