**Finance Reporting Manager - Salary £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on skills & experience)**

This is a Fixed Term Contact position, a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for exposure and development within finance and has good attention to detail.

UK Finance Team brings together the best capabilities to deliver finance solutions that support the growth of the Group and deliver financial information our customers have confidence in. Within the Life Finance Team the global reporting team delivers Aviva's internal and external accounting and reporting deliveries.

This role sits within Aviva's life business which has assets in excess of £250bn. As well as supporting the business day-to-day, the teams current priorities are to build best in class reporting processes and deliver a finance change programme that includes IFRS 17 which will help fuel Aviva's growth. We are looking for colleagues who are hard-working, curious, will drive simplicity and will help our team win.

**A bit about the job**:
The Non Profit Financial Reporting team are looking for an adaptable team player who's ready to support in a regular reporting role that bridges technical development across our pricing, investment and reporting functions.

The role has the stability of a monthly and quarterly reporting cycle working in an area with ongoing change and opportunities for simplification and innovation. Requiring regular collaboration with investment operations and actuarial teams you'll find there are always new challenges, and your contributions will be impactful across all of finance.

**Skills and experience we're looking for**:

- Qualified / Part qualified accountant with relevant work experience
- Excellent analytical skills and pro-active drive to identify and investigate processes, controls and interdependencies with other data providers
- Ability to work independently, providing a detailed and documented understanding of various processes.
- Experience in a financial reporting role ideally with some background of Unit Linked Investments would be advantageous
- Experience of working to tight deadlines in a demanding environment
