**Position**: Experienced Dog Groomer
**Location**: Bowen Island, BC, Canada
**Experience**: Minimum of one year as a full time professional dog groomer
**Compensation**: Competitive rates; compensation open to discussion

Our boarding facility is more than just a place for pets to stay - it's a home away from home where furry friends receive top-notch care and attention. Situated on Bowen Island, our tranquil surroundings offer the perfect backdrop for providing exceptional grooming services to our beloved four-legged clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform grooming services according to client specifications and breed standards, for our clients and the Bowen Island Residents. There is currently no dog groomer on the island.
- Bathe, brush, trim, and style dogs' coats as required
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in your care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming area and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with pet owners

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of one year of full time professional dog grooming experience
- Proficiency in grooming various breeds and coat types
- Knowledge of grooming techniques, tools, and products (we have a full set of grooming tools)
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine love for animals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
