- **Your Key Responsibilities**
- Determine vehicle repair requirements- Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed-
- Diagnose and repair vehicles-
- Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles-
- Adjust or align headlights, wheels, and brake systems-
- Repair or replace interior components-
- Monitor and take part of active cleanliness of shop and equipment-
- Move vehicles as required for shop production-
- Mentor, coach, train and support the development of apprentices in the dealership- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- ** A provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate is required**- Red Seal Certification is preferred-
- Knowledge of and the ability to operate machinery and tools required to complete repairs-
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using power and hand-held equipment-
- Excellent customer services skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals-
- Professional demeanour and strong work ethic-
- Excellent communication-
- Efficient problem-solving skills-
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail-
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team-
- High level of integrity and reliability-
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history- Open to continuous learning and development
