**Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning, opening, and closing public washrooms
- Completing special events set-up and tear down
- Sports field, trails, and beachfront maintenance/inspections
- Provides leadership and instruction for summer students
- Completing general outdoor maintenance of public areas as required - i.e. pick-up garbage, paint surfaces, cut and trim grass, clear tree debris, lay sod, etc.

**Required Education, Experience & Skills**:

- Post-secondary education with previous experience in a related position
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work safely and take initiative
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with members of the public
- Must be reliable and physically capable of perform the work

**Employment Information**:

- Wage Rate = Group 4, Step 1 - $26.04 per hour
- 40 hours per Week - required to work days, evenings and weekends and participate in the on-call schedule
- This is a 7 Month Contract (30 Weeks) - expected to be April - October 2025

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: From $26.04 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
