**About us**

Witzkes Greenhouse is a local, family owned and operated business. Our expansive space combined with our years of experience in the industry make us the garden centre of choice for many area residents. Our 7 acres of growing space allows us to provide customers with what they need to create a beautiful garden at home. We have been serving customers through our retail space since 1970 and offer an engaging, fun and fast-paced work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Provide advice to customers on gardening techniques and plant care.
- Demonstrate a high degree of customer service while answering questions regarding merchandise, pricing, and promotions in accordance with company guidelines
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- Flexibility in availability (weekends/Holidays)
- Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written)
- Mature, responsible, and willing to learn
- Retail experience is an asset
- Knowledge of plants is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Courtice, ON L1E 2L3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
