**Summary**:
Under the direction of the Financial Controller, the Finance Clerk is responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable functions; calculating, preparing and processing invoices, bills, collections, all other accounts payable and receivables, as well as other financial records according to established procedures.

**Key Focuses**:

- Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as invoices, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements using computerized and manual systems
- Code, enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable invoices, customer invoices, purchase orders, cheque requisitions
- Prepare payment files for vendors as required.
- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
- Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, excel, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying
- Prepare and enter invoices into the accounting system per policy and established procedures
- Prepare invoices as per client contract requirements
- Reconcile and collect outstanding accounts on a timely basis
- Create and post deposits
- Maintain AP and AR accounts in Business by Design software.
- Prepare and send customer statements as required.
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries
- Maintain good customer and vendor relations and solve problems
- Other duties as required

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:

- Grade twelve (12) Diploma required
- Completion of University or College Accounting Administration Program is considered an asset
- Three to five (3-5) years of accounts payable and five plus (5+) accounts receivable experience is required
- Strong analytical skills are required
- Exceptional initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently as required
- Must be bondable
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

This is full-time position located in Fort McMurray, AB.
Work Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
