**Schedule Options**

This is a full-time permanent position offering a minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday - no weekend work).

Morning Shift: 5 am -1:30 pm

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Boom Truck Operator is responsible for the prompt and safe delivery of our products to customers, branches and suppliers as required.
- Operations and Customer Service_
- Perform the delivery and pick up of product for customers, branches and suppliers; ensure proper documentation and signatures.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and ensuring product is safely secured on the truck prior to vehicle movement.
- Offload material directly to the proper assigned areas.
- Notify Branch Manager and/or Shipping Supervisor/Dispatch in advance of any delays with time-calls.
- Be first contact for issues with regards to deliveries.
- Assist in warehouse or branch duties as required.
- Truck / Safety_
- Adhere to safe and defensive driving practices and abide by all rules and laws of the road.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures outlined by Ministry of Transportation and Company policies.
- Ensure all product is safe and secure during transport.
- Make sure all lifts are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with company expectations
- Maintain a clean and orderly cab.
- Complete daily circle-check inspections and driver log-books.
- Submit run sheets on a daily basis with all required information completed.
- Report maintenance/repair issues of truck to Shipping Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Report incidents/accidents immediately to Shipping Supervisor.

- Valid and clean Class D Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement (Z)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Boom Truck Operator Delivery Driver utilizing a 10 tonne truck with Knuckle Crane in a customer service focused industry
- Clean CVOR and Working at Heights Certification
- A strong safety and compliance mindset
- Strong communication skills and problem solving skills; with a customer service orientation
- Positive attitude; with a keen interest in learning our business
