**AdvanTec Marine** is looking for an experienced and energetic **Painter 1 **to join our Coating Department in Chilliwack, BC.

- Our **Entry Level Painters** have a starting **wage range of $19-$24** per hour based on your experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

**Essential Functions for this Role are**:

- Clean and maintain spray guns and other tools, work area, and materials
- Maintain inventory of all paint materials
- Sanding and finishing epoxy and polyester fillers
- Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

**Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required**:

- High school education or GED equivalent
- Ability to do powder coat is considered an asset
- Marine experience preferred
- Bodywork and equipment maintenance experience required
- Fiberglass and carbon fiber experience is considered an asset
- Good interpersonal skills such as verbal/written communication and listening
- Knowledge of epoxy primers, topcoat, paint materials, paint preparation and body work
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Strong attention to detail
