**What the job is all about**:
Purchasing and Planning relate to Supply Chain sustainability, Supply Chain risk management, and Supply Chain trade compliance. In conjunction with our stakeholders, ensure that Ross continues to evolve its approach in these areas to support overall corporate objectives
- Providing expertise and support to internal departments and external partners
- Generating and delivering reports from data analysis
- verifying the accuracy of reports and assisting in correcting any inaccuracies in the business data
- Offering suggestions and direction to help guide decision-makers, for E&O provisioning
- Explore and recommend appropriate 3rd party solutions, providing cost/benefit analysis.
- Identify long term supply gaps. Involve internal stakeholders in finding solutions, as necessary.
- E&O sales - Identify and pursue opportunities to dispose of E&O - Negotiate best possible return for same
- Create a robust model for regularly reporting on Supply Chain impact to cash flow, including but not limited to costed planning horizon models and projected ability to support revenue targets by product line.
- Participate (with Finance, Product Teams, and Sales) in creation of robust S&OP process.
- Familiarity with INFOR at a user level. being able to perform basic tasks and get information out of the system.
- Identify and make recommendations and create necessary reports and ad hoc reporting tools in the new ERP environment.

**Who you are**:

- University Degree or College Diploma in related discipline. Related accreditation is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with MRP/ERP/WMS systems
- Considerable experience in analyzing and implementing strategic and long-term business planning activities including researching, developing, business performance reports.
- communication skills, both written and verbal
- Considerable experience in researching, identifying, and developing processes, business and technical requirements, documentation, design and system development
- Solid analytical skills and ability to use data to guide analytical outcomes
- Excellent Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize tasks

**Bonus points if you have the following**:

- Minimum 7 years in a Business Analyst capacity or a related role
- Minimum 2 years of experience within capital markets and/or asset management
- Solid analytical, problem solving and negotiation and decision-making skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas and concepts
- Ability to multi-task effectively within a fast -paced and evolving work environment
- Collaborative team player with a positive disposition and willingness to contribute to common goals
- Employ a spirit of 'get it done together' sharing practices and ideas across functions
- Working knowledge of computers and programs such as MS Suite
