You will ensure an excellent flow in the steri-centre and that the clinic is set up for success A snap-shot of the day-to-day is as follows:
- Analyze the schedule and ensure you are aware of how you can help the clinical team to run through the day smoothly, with mínimal disruptions to both the providers and the patients;
- Respect relevant guidelines relating to instrument re-processing, sterilization and disinfection in a dental office setting
- Preparing and prepping the instrument trays and operatories;
- Ensure all necessary items (specialized instrument packs, equipment etc.) are ready for each appointment by consulting the schedule each day;
- Track steri-centre supplies (pouches, chemicals, water, etc.) and ensure timely ordering
- Maintenance of steri-centre equipment as per manufacturers and office protocols;
- Report missing, broken or damaged instruments so that they can be taken out of circulation, re-ordered or repaired;
- Additional related duties, as required.
