First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, has an exciting opening for a **Service Advisor** at our Edmonton South branch. The Service Advisor will contribute in one of Canada's best managed companies. Be a part of a team that takes trucking to the next level of quality and professionalism. **Compensation Plan**
- Competitive hourly rate (D.O.E).

**Primary Job Functions**
- Greet customers, book appointments, write up work orders, and schedule repairs.
- Create estimates for the service department.
- Responsible for department invoicing.
- Sell repairs and services recommended by the technician.
- Follow up with customers and keep them updated.
- Explain all work performed and charges.

**Qualifications**
- Great customer service both in person and over the phone, verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once.
- Confidence using computer systems, writing reports, and using scheduling tools.
- Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
- Previous experience in the automotive or trucking industry is an asset.
- Able to climb in and out of Class 8 trucks.
