Under the direct clinical supervision of a member of the Ontario College of Psychologists, the Psychometrist provides client care and service, including assessment and consultation, at Pryor, Linder and Associates. The psychometrist will assess the cognitive, emotional and psychosocial functioning for children and adults. This position will provide service to private and school board psychoeducational assessments as well as Developmental Services assessments.

Assessment includes a combination of some, or all of the following activities:

- Administering and scoring tests (WISC, WIATT, WRAML, ABAS, Conners, ASEBA, etc.)
- Collecting case history information through review of medical records, conducting family and client interviews and reviewing records and reports from other professionals
- Writing reports describing the assessment results
- Attending school visits and any follow up meetings, when applicable
- Communicating these results, with the exception of the diagnosis, to the client, the family and the team
- Completing necessary documentation in accordance with established standards and guidelines of Pryor Linder and Associates, Developmental Services Ontario, and the College of Psychologists of Ontario

This is currently a contract position with the opportunity to develop into a salaried position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Psychology with a clinical emphasis, Masters preferred, including courses on the development and administration of psychometric instruments
- Experience administering and scoring psychological tests
- Demonstrated abilities in diagnostic/testing, assessment and report writing for children and adults with physical, developmental and a broad range of disabilities
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and complete tasks in a busy environment
- Current Criminal Reference Check (CRC) that includes a Vulnerable Sector Search administered by the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC)
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle along with automobile insurance

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
