**Job Title : Production Planner & Purchasing coordinator**

**Reporting to : Director of Operations**

**Location : Hybride (Longueil 1-2 days/week)**

**Position Overview**: The Production Planner & Purchasing coordinator, is responsible for planning the production of finished products on a weekly basis. In this role you will have to communicate with our suppliers, to make sure they know our coming needs and make sure they maintain an adequate level of inventory. Based on their feedback you will make sure the weekly production plan is aligned and be the person in communication with our 3PL. This role will also be responsible to link our ERP with our purchasing system.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Plan the Production Schedule in the ERP and communicate it to the co-packer
- Validate that the production plan is followed and react and adjust the Master Production Schedule
- Oversee physical inventory locations including planning, scheduling, monitoring and purchasing
- Create Stock and Non-Stock Items in the ERP and any other related tasks
- Participate and/or lead any other projects and tasks as assigned the Operations department
- Responsible for leading the training, development and coaching of the Operations Team on the ERP
- Develop, recommend and implement various strategies to improve the flow of product in the ERP
- Conceptualize, participate and support diverse ERP projects
- Is the link between Evive and our suppliers.
- Develop strong relationships with long-term suppliers that maximize ingredient selection and price
- With the support of the director, this person will negotiate the price of our ingredients and packaging.
- Report forecasted volume to the leadership team to manage price risks and other variables in the supply chain
- Create, measure and communicate supplier performance metrics to improve service and reduce costs

**Job**:

- 2+ years overall experience in Supply Chain Management and Operations
- 2+ years in production planning and working with subcontractors
- 2+ years shopping / procurement experience
- 1+ years in Inventory Management
- 1+ years in Procurement or experience working with procurement teams.
- Experience with B2B and B2C is an asset
- Experience with frozen goods is an asset
- Bachelor level in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management or in any other pertinent field or any relevant experience.
- High level of analytical and communication skills
- Ability to research and solve diverse issues
- Ability and interest to work and perform in an fast paced environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize diverse projects and tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in teams and bring initiative forwards
- Experience in working with Sales, Finances, Operations departments and understanding of the various constraints and realities of those departments.
- Understanding of Financial procedures.
- You are a strategic and creative problem solver who understands how all pieces of a puzzle fit / operate together
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English and French

**Vos responsabilités**:

- Planifier le calendrier de production dans l'ERP et le communiquer au sous-traitant.
- Valider que le plan de production est suivi et réagir en ajustant le calendrier de production principal.
- Superviser les emplacements de stock physique, y compris la planification, la programmation, la surveillance et les achats.
- Créer des articles en stock et hors stock dans l'ERP et effectuer toutes les autres tâches connexes.
- Participer et/ou diriger d'autres projets et tâches assignés par le département des opérations.
- Responsable de la formation, du développement et du coaching de l'équipe des opérations sur l'ERP.
- Développer, recommander et mettre en œuvre diverses stratégies pour améliorer le flux de produits dans l'ERP.
- Conceptualiser, participer et soutenir divers projets ERP.
- Faire le lien entre Evive et nos fournisseurs.
- Développer des relations solides avec des fournisseurs à long terme qui maximisent la sélection et le prix des ingrédients.
