Annex Business Media is Canada’s largest B2B media company which just happens to also include a print plant. Our print plant is looking for a Pressperson to join our team. The Pressperson is responsible for the overall setup, operation and maintenance of our Komori Lithrone S40P 8 colour sheet fed press. Our print plant operates on two rotating four-day shifts of 10 hours/day, Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday.

**What you will do**:

- Set up, program and operate the press according to job specifications.
- Inspect the print run for colour accuracy, print clarity and conformance to specifications.
- Monitor quality for control of colour, registration and ink density.
- Maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth operation of each print run.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks to keep the press running in top form.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make minor repairs to the press.
- As a minimum requirement, you must have a grade 12 or equivalent and a mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience operating a printing press is an asset but not required as we are willing to train the right person.
- Operating as part of a team, you are not afraid to take on tasks needed to get the job done.
- Displays a can do/will do attitude and goes beyond to deliver the unexpected.
- Open to new challenges and learning opportunities as they arise.
- Great organizational abilities, as well as excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must.
- Heavy lifting may be required from time to time.

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
