**GCat Group Inc,** is looking for an experienced,
**Financial Controller** responsible for overseeing all the financial aspects of the company including assessment of financial performance ensuring financial due diligence and effective controllership and maintaining constant awareness of the company’s financial position. This role will ensure the accounting team runs in a smooth and efficient way while keeping financials up to date and making changes to the current systems where necessary. This role will report directly to the CEO with strategic planning of projects, implementation, and budget control.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities include but not limited to**:

- Ensure accurate Monthly and YE Financial Statement preparation
- Establish, and maintain internal controls, conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis and reporting, among other duties
- Supervise and oversee collections, billing, and payroll
- Government payments and taxes
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions
- Manage annual year-end audit
- Oversees and manages accounting software
- Ensures compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures
- Provide training for accounting staff and provide support
- Bank reconciliations
- Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.
- Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to the CEO

**Qualifications**
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
- Experienced in Financial Analyst, Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
- Strong management and communication skills
- Comfortable in fast-paced and dynamic business environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Team leader
- Experience using ADP Workforce an asset
