**Position Objective**:
The Simulator Lab Coach is responsible for providing an engaging and informative experience for guests utilizing the PEC's advanced simulator facilities. This role combines technical expertise with customer interaction to ensure that every guest leaves with a deeper appreciation of Porsche’s driving dynamics and the thrill of the brand.

The Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) is a brand immersion destination for automobile enthusiasts. It offers the ability for guests of all ages to take in the heritage of the brand, experience the Porsche lifestyle and the thrill of the drive, allowing Porsche to build connections with people from all walks of life. Guests visit the PEC primarily to engage in driving experiences behind the wheel of a Porsche vehicle on a purpose-built driver development track.



**Primary Responsibilities: **

**Prior to PEC opening**:

- Assist in establishing procedures and training for simulator operations
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Sales & Marketing Manger, and Chief Instructor to develop program content tailored to the simulator experience
- Support the setup and testing of simulator technology to ensure seamless functionality

**Once PEC is open**:

- Deliver high-quality customer experiences by guiding guests through simulator sessions, including orientation and coaching
- Customize simulator sessions based on guests skill levels, preferences, and Porsche driving principles
- Maintain and troubleshoot simulator equipment, always ensuring operational excellence and readiness
- Collaborate with the Events Team, Drive Team, and Customer Experience Staff to integrate simulator experiences into broader PEC offerings
- Provide guests with feedback on their performance, emphasizing Porsche driving techniques and safety standards
- Contribute to ongoing development of simulator-based programs and workshops, staying updated on the latest simulator and driving technologies
- Record and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve the simulator experience

**Qualifications**:
**Education:  **
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Technology, or Automotive Engineering preferred

**Experience (Job and Industry)**:

- 2+ years in a customer-facing role within automotive, hospitality, or a related field
- 2+ years hands-on experience with simulators, driving technology, or similar systems is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with Porsche vehicles or automotive performance characteristics preferred

**Skills**:

- Exceptional communication and coaching skills
- Strong technical aptitude with an ability to troubleshoot simulator hardware and software
- Ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment for diverse audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus
- English required, French preferred, German a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Pickering, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
