**Job Summary**:
Marshall Construction is looking for an experienced, talented individual to join our team as a **class 1 equipment operator. **The class 1 equipment operator is responsible for operating equipment such as hoe, skid steer, telebelt, concrete pump, drive truck, in a safe manner while maximizing the margins for profitability and prolonging the life of the equipment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Go over daily job expectations and help plan heavy equipment operations with the supervisor
- Performs routine pre and post inspection
- Set up, take down and wash out procedures of equipment in a timely manner
- Maintain and communicate the job schedule to ensure completion of projects in timely manner
- Operate Heavy Equipment with safety precaution
- Complete basic repair on equipment (light bulbs, check fan belts, hoses, connections, etc.)
- Complete cleaning of the equipment on a regular basis
- Supervisor / management specified activities at the shop or construction site.
- **This position also requires performing labour duties as assigned.**:

- **MUST HAVE A GOOD WORK ETHICS**

**Requirements**:

- **Class 1 driver’s license**:

- A clean 3- years commercial driver’s abstract
- At least 2-3 years of related experience in operating heavy equipment and driving truck
- Residential, commercial, industrial construction experience is an asset

**Must be able to provide negative drug and alcohol test**

**PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES**:Physically Fit/ able to handle heavy loads up to 45kg (100lbs). Able to work long hours in standing positions and doing repetitive tasks. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be ok with heights. Enjoy working outdoors
