Hello,

We are looking for a kitchen helper in the takeout Teriyaki/Sushi bar in Fortino's grocery store, operating from 8 am to 8 pm.

Please briefly describe your relative work experience and provide us with your available time slot when applying.

The pay will be given by cheque and $15.50 + depending on your work experience.

**Duties**:

- take/make orders for customers
- maintain the clean kitchen (dishwashing, sweeping, taking the trash out, etc)
- prepare vegetables (cabbages, onion, carrot, etc) using a mandoline blade
- handle and prepare meats (chicken, beef, shrimp) using knife
- complete other duties assigned

**Requirement**:

- confident using mandoline blade/ knife
- working with the grill
- communicate with customer and co-workers
- handle vegetables and meats safely
- able to work repetitive job and standing long time
- able to lift heavy items (~20 lb)
- able to work under pressure

Please note that we do not use a cash register.
