**JOB DESCRIPTION: Set Up Technician**

**SIGNING BONUS FOR DIRECT HIRES: $200 UPON HIRE AND $300 BONUS UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION PERIOD**

**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
- You will help to set-up brand new processes on our CNC milling machines.
- You will refine programs to optimize production and create standard work to carry forward those optimizations.
- You will train new and existing operators to develop their skillsets.
- Utilize your knowledge to identify and troubleshoot problems that arise with the set-up or process.
- You will play a key role in continuous improvement activities such as cycle time reduction.
- Measure effectiveness of new job launches.
- Assist in quoting and process design to support our Customers.
- Support the team in making good parts through part measurement and trouble shooting.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE?**
- Minimum of 5 years experience with CNC programming
- Well-versed with machine controls
- Good understanding of G codes
- Able to modify programs, read drawings, modify fixtures, verify cycle times, bar coding, etc.
- Proper use of gauges and all necessary inspection devices
- 5-10 years experience in machining and set-up of CNC turning and milling machines
- Superior math skills are required plus strong follow up skills.

**Salary**: $23.50-$30.00 per hour
