**OVERVIEW**:
The Talent Acquisition Americas team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team. In this internship, students will get the chance to work on exciting projects, gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Talent Acquisition including recruitment, and have the opportunity to gain experience with a best-in-class employer.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and team members to understand position requirements and develop effective job descriptions and postings.
- Engage in effective Talent Branding initiatives by creating branding content while working with the OpenText Marketing team, partnering with team members on projects, and promoting brand awareness.
- Actively contribute to our projects, initiatives, and event-planning while also tracking progress for the Talent Acquisition team.
- Administrative duties as needed (includes requisition processing, job postings, interview scheduling, etc.)
**WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:
- A current university or college student (preferably enrolled in a Human Resources or Business program).
- A passion for recruitment and a willingness to bring creative ideas on ways to attract and deliver top talent to the organization.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to leverage technology.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize the demands of multiple clients.
- Prior experience or coursework related to HR or Talent Acquisition is a plus, but not required.
This job requires you to work from our Waterloo or Richmond Hill office 2-3 days per week. OpenText has a Flexible Work policy in Canada. This requires employees to be located proximate to an OpenText office so that they can come to the office 2-3 days per week.
