**Skills and Attributes**
- LEVEL 3 - Early Childhood Educator certification ( ELCC Graduate or Equivalent and a minimum of **3 years supervisory experience within a childcare setting AND previous Infant/Toddler supervisory experience**)
- Have a strong passion for the childcare field and working with Infants and Toddlers
- Knowledge of child care licensing standards
- A warm, open manner, positive attitude, willingness to learn and a high energy level
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with staff and families with diverse cultures and languages
- A Current Standard Child Care First Aid & clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check and a clear Child Intervention Check
- Fluency in a second language is an asset and/or sign language.
- Basic computer skills is required
- Fluency in reading and writing English is required

- Be actively involved in ICFC’s staff educational program by attending monthly staff and family meetings, writing learning stories and participating in guided journal work exercises to increase knowledge of and implementation of core concepts from Play, Participation and Possibilities: An Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum Framework for Alberta

**Additional Details**:
**Wage**: Competitive salary which includes Accreditation hourly wage top-up

**Benefits**:Offered after probationary period is lifted

**Hours of Work**: Full-time shift - 8:45 am to 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday

**Location**:Intercultural Child & Family Centre - Norquest (formerly 1000 Women Child Care Centre) located in the Singhmar Centre for Learning - location in Rm 1-165, 10215 - 108 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5H 0T7
