Taproom Associate

From humble beginnings in a single car garage on Evergreen Street, to the opening of our first commercial Nano Brewery in the West end. **Your opportunity**:
Our Kanata location is looking for both a part-time and full-time **Tap Room Associate **to join the team and own the following responsibilities:

- Customer service duties including greeting customers, serving beer, taking payment and providing knowledge of Evergreen Craft Ales to customers
- Perform daily inspections to ensure the tap room, bathrooms and common areas are presentable, safe and ready for customers
- Communicate with owners to manage customer feedback in the start-up stage to ensure a highest level of customer satisfaction
- Assist in planning, management and organization for both on and offsite events
- Assist in other duties such as cleaning, inventory, mínimal food preparation and quarterly scheduled group deep cleans of the Tap Room
- Work offsite at festivals and farmers markets as required

**Your skills and experience**:

- Experience in the hospitality industry with a valid smart serve certification
- Strong knowledge of restaurant/tap room operations and service procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills - Positive, infectious attitude and sense of humor
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Well-versed in: beer history; brewing techniques; preparation techniques, styles, flavor profiles or possess a willingness to learn
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as scheduled

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
