We are seeking a Manufacturing Plant Supervisor to oversee the operations of our plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance within a high-performance work team environment. Your role includes implementing best manufacturing practices, managing employee relations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be involved in budget preparation and capital project implementation. This position is located at our Brantford Paper Mill.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure employee safety by leading a comprehensive safety program
- Comply with environmental and safety regulations and company policies
- Develop and train subordinates through education and teamwork
- Assist in preparing the plant operating budget
- Meet or exceed productivity and cost targets set by the plant manager
- Hire, train, and mentor staff with diverse backgrounds
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing
- Coordinate production scheduling to meet customer demands and minimize costs
- Support quality initiatives to meet customer expectations
- Build and maintain productive employee relations
- Identify and implement capital projects for operational improvement

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Paper Industry
- Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and safety practices
- Ability to manage costs and optimize resources
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in production budgeting and expense control
- Previous experience in staff management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $107,000.00-$133,500.00 per year
