**THE INTERN’S DUTIES**

The **Investment Operations** department is looking for someone who is passionate about financial markets. This department’s mandate is to handle securities transactions, from execution to settlement. You will interact with people from the trading desk, securities brokers and custodians. This high-level co-op/internship will allow you to grow at your own pace and to your full potential.

**What you’ll do here**:

- Ensure the integrity of cash transactions and assemble regulatory reports.
- Analyze short sale exposures and monitor collateral management policy agreements.
- Calculate and analyze derivative exposures and ensure compliance with collateral management agreements with brokers.
- Monitor foreign exchange transactions in our various portfolios on a daily basis and ensure confirmation of these transactions with various brokers, via Bloomberg.
- Review operational documentation and make recommendations for improvements

**What you bring to the table**:

- ** Bachelor** in finance in progress
- Internship experience (an asset)
- Curiosity and an interest in the investment field.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- The ability to collaborate with co-workers and partners.
- A strong command of Excel.
- Bilingualism (English French). **You will interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.**:

- Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2025 Term (**January 6 to April 25**)
- Must be returning to school in Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 following your internship
