Brookfield, Canada Brookfield Lumber & Building Supply Ltd. Full time

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Organizing and maintaining the warehouse and lumber yard.
- Serving customers in a positive and friendly manner.
- Picking and preparing of customer orders for delivery or overseeing this task.
- Receiving deliveries of stock, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
- Keeping inventory safe from damage and loss and readily available for customers.
- Matching incoming deliveries and outgoing orders with provided paperwork.
- Reporting any discrepancies to store manager.
- Follow procedures for completing paperwork for receiving, shipping and customer returns.
- Operate equipment safely and report mechanical problems or maintenance requirements.
- Deliver materials to customer’s homes or job sites in a careful, efficient and pleasant manner.
- Follow workplace practices to ensure safety of workers and customers. Observe and suggest possible short comings and suggest improvements.
- Interact with co-workers, management, customers and delivery driver in a friendly manner.
- Transfer product from warehouses to the store as requested.
- Offer, encourage and oversee excellent customer service.

**Job Requirements**:

- Building Supply knowledge
- Forklift experience
- Self-motivation, reliability and good organization skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Available to work some Saturdays
- Physically able to safely lift heavy items
- Willing to work outside in variable temperatures and weather conditions
- A clean drivers abstract
