Junior Videographer

Overview:
We are seeking a junior videographer to join our team. As a Videographer, you will be responsible for supporting video production efforts. This is an opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to the success of our organization. We're based out of Downtown Dartmouth and work all across Nova Scotia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with planning, shooting, and editing videos for various projects, including promotional videos, interviews, tutorials, and event coverage
- Collaborate with the team to understand project objectives and deliver compelling visual content
- Operate cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices to capture high-quality footage
- Edit videos using DaVinci Resolve
- Ensure videos are properly formatted for different platforms (e.g., social media, website)
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video production quality

Qualifications:

- Experience as a Videographer or similar role
- Proficient in using video editing software
- Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting techniques, and audio recording
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions

Preferred Skills:

- Photography
- Experience with Instagram Reels
- Proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop
- Knowledge of best practices for video optimization on various platforms
